I found the A&O Hotel to be more of a Hostel than a Hotel and believe guests who are not interested in Hostel style accommodation should be warned that the Hostel section is not necessarily seperated from the Hotel. While watching young people exploring thier independence for the first time can be fun, avoiding vomit ont he stairs and ground in food substances on the hallway carpet is not for everyone.

We booked a hotel family room, but got a room more like a hostel room with 2 times 2 beds on top of each other. No table, only two small chairs, and TV only visible from top beds. Only useful for sleeping, nothing else. Hardly recommendable for families with children! Breakfast OK.

I recommend that in the information about A&O Hotel Mitte Berlin it is explicitly statde that it ia a youth hotel. At least I did miss that when I was booking.

the hotel was not comfortable the location was not nice most of the rooms are wery small breakfastfacility uncharming the hotel is mostly fit for schoolclases or students

Very basic accomodation. Hostel-like although €60 for one person. bathroom was far too small, like a phone kiosk. Breakfast buffet lacked variety especially in cereals (all seemed types of muesli) and serving area is too small (very congested).

This hotel was an HotelClub alternative to other previously selected by me, but it was worse than the originally selected and more expensive. The breakfast was bad and the room and beds very uncomfortable. Please do not choose this hotel.

Hotel was near an empty building full of squatters so didn't feel safe walking about at night. Only had one towel between two of us and this wasn't changed at all during our stay. Breakfast time was chaos everyone pushing and shoving no system in place would have been better to have one way in and one way out of canteen.

The worst hotel I've ever been in. Actually, it wasn't a hotel but HOSTEL. HotelClub should remove this place from the offerings.
