The modernist Hotel Vincci Maritimo is one of Barcelona's typically avant-garde style buildings, with an elegant lobby bathed in natural night. Opened in 2003, the hotel features ultramodern hi-tech amenities and was designed by a prestigious and renowned architecture firm. A bit out of the centre of Barcelona but very close to the metro (Selva de Mar) so easy to get to everywhere else and close to an excellent shopping Mall (Diagonal Mar) with a supermarket. I would definitely stay there again.

Vincci Maritimo is a new hotel, and is very clean. The design is contemporary. The hotel bar lacked atmosphere, as there were not many people staying there at the time of our visit - probably due to the location (a long walk to the centre of Barcelona). Its very handy for the Bogatel beach though, just a 5-10 minute walk, & the metro line just around the corner. All in all, we enjoyed our stay, & if you dont mind staying a little away from the city centre, i would definately recomend this hotel.

Location is a long way from any attractions in a developing area. It is a 4 block walk to a beach. Otherwise, nice place.

The location is not close to Port Olympic as you might think. It is about 30 minutes walk and 10 minutes by metro.
