I've been in Barcelona on holiday with my girlfriend and we are really satisfied! The only defect was the noise of the girls who clean rooms, but, in the end, it was bearable.The hotel is very good also for its location; there is a metro stop very close to it.

Our 2 night stay in Barcelona was better than we expected. The hotel was particularly well positioned for us, since it was in a more quiet area, but provided all the necessary for us, including convenience for Metro, buses etc.

Visited Barcelona for 3 days on vacation. The Aston hotel was close enough to the main city attractions to get there easily (15 minute walk or 5-10 minutes by metro) although there is little to see very close to the hotel. The surrounding areas were very quiet and had a few fun bars where the locals hang out. The room was clean, and probably a little smaller than the average european hotel but not too bad. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

We are very happy of this hotel and we will return there, just in case coming back to Barcelona. We suggest to not take the breakfast in the Aston, where it is very expensive (12€), but to exit the Hotel door, turn left, walk 20 meters and enter the wonderfull "bar-boulangerie" where You can eat everything with few euros. The room was clean and new. The safe box large enough to contain everything. Hot water available at any time and tovels changed everyday. One only negative point (but not depending from the hotel) the road traffic noise was a little disturbing during the night, but since the second night I used ear-corks and slept very well indeed !! Last but not least, the hotel is at about 200 meters from the underground green line L3 (metro), from which, by easy metro connections, every place in Barcelona can be reached.
