This high-end establishment was enlarged and renovated to become a luxury hotel in 1991. You will be swept away by its majestic modernist façade. Nice Hotel, but the room was very small. I believe the standard rooms are about 20% bigger, but the hotel floor plan on the fire escape map shows several "dwarf" rooms per floor and these are what may be given to internet reservers (hotel to confirm or deny). Even in the small room, the bathroom was the standard size and quite nice. The location was great, as it is a few minutes walk from very lively areas. Close enough to be no hastle, far enough to be relatively quiet. I would stay here again if I had the assurance I was not going to get the smallest room in the house.

I had some problems wiht the noise of the room. The first room that the gave me was very noise. They ghnged the room after the first day but the noise was the same . They changed this room with another that was good but very small. The staff in this occassion was not "problem solving" and leave me in an embarrassement situatio. For the other thinks the hotel is good.

Although I am fully aware of accommodation prices at Barcelona, I was surprised to find out how much money you have to pay for such a small, noisy, and uncomfortable room.
