our first impression of the hotel was very positive, lovely foyer, on reaching our room on the fifth floor we found the carpet filthy as the lift door opened. the room was small and compact, walls needed painting, bathroom was ok apart from the shower needing attention. grout was all mildew, water leaked out onto the floor. tv had only one english channel which would not make it very amusing for children. would have liked tea making facilities. no in house entertainment or bar. we ate just one morning as it was not too appealling, toaster was broken and i had to point out to staff that the tomatoes were rotten. on the whole we were disappointed but it was cheap enough for the four nights we stayed there. it was 74€ per night.

We found the hotel rather noisy in the small hours of the night. The breakfast fare was the same every morning, that is alright for those staying one or two nights, but we were there for a week! Since returning home we have learned that a member of the family tried to contact us by phone on several occasions, but we were not informed of this by the hotel staff.

Very convenient to the Sagrada Familia Cathedral and also Metro. Good location for additional restaurants. Would recommend staying here, however it is a little way out of the main city area.

Night manager was impatient, gave incorrect information on 2 occasions and was insolent. He made no effort to help us remove bags from storeroom. The hotel lacked tissues. Clogged sink reported 3 times and never taken care of. Requested 2 face cloths three times and finally received them once.

Nice hotel to stay if you visit Barcelona. Very easy to go from the hotel to the center by metro or citybus. Breakfast is very simple.

Spotless, really modern rooms were excellent especially for the price we paid. The location was also excellent, only 5 minutes away from the nearest Metro station. Would definitely recommend a visit (I'm sure we'll be back). I think people may be put off as it's not in the Ramblas area but I personally think this is a bonus..not so crowded with tourists but close enough to get back to the action...

I found this hotel to be excellent for my needs. Breakfast had an suitable variety of food for any requirement. I would not hesitate to recommend it to any other traveller to Barcelona. Service was friendly though English was not always the most comfortable language for communication, However, I consider this to be my fault as I do not speak Spanish/Catalan, and every effort was always made to assist me.

Reception not very friendly or helpful on arrival. Bedroom facilities a bit basic and not much space in the room but location and overall experience for the price paid was fine.
