This was our first time of booking a hotel via internet. We were a bit wary considering it was a one star hotel. but on arrival we were pleasantly surprised by the hospitality and cleanliness of this very central hotel. Our room which was on the fourth floor was very spacious and had comfortable beds. Even though our room was without a view it didn't bother us since we were out all day. We recommend this hotel to anyone going to Barcelona. Marlene L. Malta

The rooms are very small, but that was to be expected. They were also very noisy, and late arriving guests made it impossible to sleep till 2 am. The breakfast was very basic.

Don't stay at this hotel if you need rest and a peaceful holiday. You can hear every footstep and door closing and if there are schools staying (popular with english and foreign students/children as it is cheap) you have no chance of any sleep. Teachers like to disappear and leave the children to run riot, either that or they have really good earplugs. I took them but they weren't enough to block out the noise of the ones in the room above bouncing on the beds or the other goings on in the adjacent room!!! I certainly will not be returning to this hotel??

I guess that the beds are about 40 years old. They were absolutely terrible. It is 2 weeks since we came home, and I am still going to a kiropractor to fix my back back to normal after the treatment from those madrasses. It was no plug to the sink or the bathtube. A tiny cupboard, so we had to live out of our suitcases the whole week. And no room for the suitcases apart from the floor. We were on the 5th floor, and a broken elevator. The walls between the rooms were very thin, so we heard everything !
