I arrived late at night, the receptionist was very welcoming and helpful. Location was amazing and I had a top floor room with a huge balcony from which I could watch night life on the Ramblas with a great view of the city. Bed was comfortable and bathroom well equipped and provisioned. Wifi would have been good had I been staying longer. Breakfast was plentiful with a reasonable variety. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone for a comfortable and well appointed stay at the heart of Ramblas.

Really enjoyed our stay, Hotel was very central straight out the door and your on the Ramblas. near all the shops, tapa bars and some really lovely restaraunt make sure to go to 4 Cats and another good one is El Convent, the Marina is another lovely place to go in the evening. If you have time make sure to fit in a visit to La Roca Retail Outlet.

We stayed for two nights only and as a party of 8 people we were so pleased we were not staying any longer. The first problem was that the 3 double rooms and 1 twin room we booked (7 months ago) all turned out to be twin rooms. We were offered to be moved to a double the next day but saw no point in this. They had problems with showers going cold and the noise from the water pipes and toilets was horrendous. The breakfast room was a total shambles as they had only 1 very slow coffee machine between hundereds of guests. Also there were only 3 waitresses clearing tables, filling hotplates with eggs etc, no napkins, no english teabags (they had run out and I was told that the shops did not open until Monday). The only nice thing about our stay was that we were all together. Had we been just a couple it would have been much worse. I would not recommend this Hotel to anyone. It was overly expensive for the state of the place and I really wonder how it managed to get 3 stars.

This was an ideal location for both me and my young son. The staff were extremely helpful. Breakfast was a bit frantic and busy but again the staff kept everything topped up no matter how busy things got! Would definitely stay here again.

The hotel room was very basic and required some redecoration. The air conditioning did not work. there was no proper window in the room so you could not see outside or let some air in. the window that was there was pointless as it looked into an internal 2m square quandrant which i think was only there for the pipework / ducting for the rooms. Give the cost, i though the room was terrible. I would have complained if i was staying longer but for 1 night couldn't be bothered.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and found the desk staff exceptionally helpful. Our only complaint is that the restaurant was not open for dinner in the evenings at this time of year (it was one reason we had picked the hotel); but breakfast was excellent. The location is ideal for access to the old town.

Very nice hotel on the Rambla, however they had not turned on the air conditioning for the season yet (end of May) which necessitated keeping the sliding doors open all night and the noise from the Rambla was unbearable. The included breakfast was sumptious compared to many other hotels.

When we booked we were told breakfast ws included. The breakfast room was thru the restaurant, down the stairs in the basement - no one ever told us where it was, so we never got to use it. We later found out from another guest. They should have told us so we could have gotten what we paid for.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is situated in the middle of La Ramblas which is in the heart of the city. The location may not be suitable for families with young children as there are a few night clubs nearby, though we went with two children and did not have any problems. The rooms were clean and the service was good.

Several negative factors: No wash cloths, soap & shampoo poor, very noisy on street all night until 6 a.m., elevator small & very jerky. beds very hard. Don't bother to eat at hotel restaurant except breakfast. Breakfast was good, staff was helpful with local info, easy walking to transportation. Open market place 2 blocks was super. lots of fun on street.

The hotel is right in the heart of the livliest part of Barcelona - on La Ramblas as the name implies. We had a 2nd floor front room with a balcony overlooking La Rambla. Breakfast was good and the room was fine - nothing exceptional, but clean, comfortable and of course a fantastic view of all life passing by beneath the windows. Main problem was night-time noise. The hotel offered us a change of room for our 3rd night [ fully booked for nights 1 & 2], but we took the decsion that we would be reluctant to lose the view. The local pharmacy sold us some ear-plugs and the problem was solved! We would be happy to stay again, but would probably try to get a room on one of the high floors [8 or 9].
