This is an excellent hotel with an ideal location to explore Barcelona and specifically Las Ramblas. The hotel is extermely well maintained and clean. Definitely better than a 2*.

A comfortable hotel in a very convenient location just off Las Ramblas. Staff helpful; good breakfast. The only downside was that the room got very little daylight as we were at the back and the window looked on to a very narrow courtyard.

Will recommend this hotel to anybody. 5 min walk from Lucue metro station on the Green line. Very easy to find. Best 2* hotel I stayed in ever. When we entered the room, the aircon was on already and that was great, as Barcelona was very hot. Great breakfast!

Staff at this hotel were very helpful at all times. The room was cleaned promptly every day. I was a little disappointed that the only window in the room overlooked an interior 'well', but other than that the room was comfortable and had everything we needed. Breakfast was fantastic, a huge buffet of everything you could possibly want, including a Spanish version of bacon and eggs.

The hotel was slightly above average. Good breakfast, free internet/wifi, and room was cleaned daily. The room was slightly small, though, and forget about a view for that price. The staff was extremely friendly. For example, they allowed me to use their printer to print our e-tickets for free, which is quite uncommon for a major city. Usually they'll charge you a Euro or some simple amount, but they didn't. A simple thing like this, I guess, gives you some idea about Spanish hospitality. What I really did not like was the walk from the main street, Las Ramblas, to the hotel. Shady characters were in every corner. You would expect to see that in a city like Barcelona, but not that much in such a small area. One last thing, if you decide you want to stay at this hotel, when exiting the hotel DO NOT take a right and walk down the street to get to Las Ramblas. Walk up the street and take a right instead. It's safer! You can check with the receptionist to make sure.

This a hotel which gives very good for money. The only tiny quibble is the lift door on our floor (4th). This slammed to quite noisily when people entered or left the lift - a bit disturbing for guests in adjacent rooms. Otherwise, the hotel was ideal for a short break in Barcelona. I would definitely recommend it to friends

we were unhappy with the luggage room which was not locked we were assured that our bags would be safe because of a camera and the continued presence of staff . On collection both zips of our hand luggage were undone , clearly very unsatisfactory. (although nothing was missing some one had been in them )
