This was the worst 3 star hotel I ever stayed in. Not only was it dark and dingy and falling apart, there was not even shower curtain or ventilation in the washroom. The first room I had looked right into another window, so I couldn't open the window. And the second room I had overlooked the street, which was very noisy at night. The attitude of the receptionist was very bad. The breakfast was very bad, not edible. website charged me 60E higher than the hotel list price.

Very central location, 3 minutes walk from the Ramblas. Our room on the second floor had a balcony which overlooked the street - a little noisy due to traffic in the morning.

I was most surprised by the lack of fresh food at breakfast. A basket of oranges and a small bowl of torn lettuce leaves was all that was provided. On one of the three days there were three slices of tomato. On the other hand, I guess it would be ideal for anyone on the Atkins Diet as there was a surfeit of cheese, meat and eggs and a vast array of fried bacon and sausages.

Staff were very helpful and courteous. Good arrangements for luggage being left on departure. Only criticisism was view from room which was awful but cannot see how Hotel can overcome that. Very enjoyable stay

A good affordable hotel in an excellent location, close to many bars and restaurants. The tourist bus stops and easily accessible from this hotel.

The hotel was extremely clean and very welcoming. The staff were friendly and made every effort to talk to us in clear english. Our only criticism of the hotel would be that they were unable to cash our american express cheques which would have been very helpful to us. The breakfast was the only other down point of the hotel in that it was only adequate in our opinion.
