Very clean, modern hotel with helpful staff. Only negative point is that staff did not book restaurant we requested in time, so we had to go to alternative which they highly recommended. In the event, the POSIT restaurant was disappointing. Slow service, average food and high prices.

We chose this hotel because the decor looked so funky and modern, and it didn't disappoint. There was nothing tired or worn looking about it, anywhere, and all the staff were efficient, helpful and charming. A family of 3, we booked a triple room, and it was marvellous – a corner room, almost 3 times the size of a standard double, with not 1 but 4 windows. The room was divided into 2 sections, like a mini-suite, with a sturdy double sofabed for our son in one section. Our bathroom had not only the standard shower-over-bath but a separate good-sized shower cubicle too. (And what a great shower!) The hotel's location was brilliant, very central, 2 steps from an underground station and 5 minutes walk from La Rambla. Our 5th floor room was quiet - the occasional rumble of the underground was not nearly enough to disturb. Breakfast was fresh, generous and varied, after which our son enjoyed a few minutes' free internet connection each day. We would thoroughly recommend Hotel Jazz.

Superb hotel, in super location, ideal for seeing the city, right next to metro and fiveminutes from aerobus stop for the airport. the famous ramblas is right on the doorstep, every time you walk up and down you see something different! hotel staff very welcoming and helpful. would certainly stay here again.

I booked the hotel based on travellers reviews and was not disappointed. It was stylish, had an excellent location and the staff were helpful and friendly. On my next trip to Barcelona I would stay here again. Great hotel.

Perfect reception, fantastic styling, very clean, modern and good facilities. The only fault is that we stayed on the third floor of this hotel and were shaken every time a metro train went underneath the hotel! It did keep us awake during the night but apparently the higher floor that you stayed the less you heard so if you go make sure you are on floor 5 to 7!
