Stylish old building with a very good location! About 100 meters to Ramblas and excellent connections to everywhere in the city! Maybe a little bit noisy, because you can hear the voices on the hallway and other rooms toilets! Breakfast was ok!

We enjoyed our stay at Nouvel Hotel Barcelona, the location was fantastic. just off the Ramblas and close to all amenities. The staff spoke very good English and were very helpful. We were given information and maps on our arrival without asking. I would definately stay there again.

We appreciate the Hotel Club process; check-in was easy. All we needed to do was show the voucher. Our room was on the top floor with a balcony, very nice for the price and location. Thanks, Helene Cross

ideal location, but rooms (including bathroom) are rather small and dark. No problem though for visitors doing a lot of sightseeing!!

The hotel is in a quiet side road just off the top end of Las Ramblas, a few minutes' walk from Placa Catalunya. The foyer was being renovated but this did not affect us. Our room (No. 360), at the front of the hotel, was spacious and comfortable with a beautiful tiled floor (take slippers!) - but could do with a bit of decoration and some new furniture, although the massive wardrobe was an experience in itself! The bathroom looked brand new and spotless with a good shower. There was a safe, just big enough for my son's laptop. The main drawback was the lack of tea/coffee making facilities. Also the television used the only electrical socket. We enjoyed the breakfasts . (We have had greater variety elsewhere but these were certainly more than adequate.) Reception staff were all very pleasant, welcoming and helpful (and all English-speaking). The hotel was very good value and we may stay there again but do like tea/coffee facilities.

On arrivel made to feel welcome. Good location for two brothers in Barcelona for the F1 Catalunya GP. Will try to book this Hotel next year. Near Bars and shops but quiet at night.

staff were very nice and helpful . Our only problem was the room next to ours had its bathroom on wall behind our bed headboard for first few nights there seemed to be a gang of girls shouting to each other from bathroom which echoed they were speaking another lanuage or we could have joined in but at 3 and 4 in morning we just wanted to sleep very noisy but not hotels fault, we would go there again with ear plugs. location great , nice breakfast ,room lovely.

My colleagues were accomodated in a hotel nearby and paid the same price, but there was a minibar, a balcony with tablke and chairs and a view over the city. Conclusion, too expensive for what is offered.
