This is a charming and small hotel with a very central location for exploring Barecelona. The rooms are small, but with exclusive details that you would not expect in a 3-star hotel. Our family of 4 were all very pleased! Regards and recommendations from a norwegian family

Everybody is polite, helpful, the bufet breakfast is excellent, the service is very good. The hotel is fine and does everything for the well being of its quests. We recommend the hotel to all our friends.

I stayed here for a week and chose a single room. The room I had was very very small. It was probably the smallest hotel room I have ever taken in the last 20 years of international travelling. The twin/double rooms are also tiny. On the top floor which isn't serviced by the elevator. The air conditioning didn't work very well and it was moderately warm. The room was clean though and the staff friendly. There was NO window view. I would recommend the hotel for short stays and is okay for the frugile/business traveller.

The 1st night that we arrived at the hotel we were greeted with champangne. The host was very nice and gave us a room. We took our own bags up and were surprised to find the smallest room we have ever seen for 2 people. It was about 1/2 the size of the room we had on our last cruise. The bed was just a full size for 2 people. I went to complain only to be told that it was the only room they had left and they would try to move us to a larger room the next morning. We spent a misserable night, unable to even move about. The bed was pushed up against one wall and still the TV was only 3 feet from our faces as we were lying down. The next morning we were given a larger room at the front of the hotel with a small balcony that over looked the plaza Cataluna. I was expecting it to be very noisy but it was not as bad as I had thought. This room was quite clean and comfortable except for the mattress that was hard as a rock, but we found this to be the case almost everwhere we stayed in Europe. In the afternoon and early evening they had snacks, wine and bottled water in the dining breakfast area. (Breakfast was expensive and we did not eat there) Internet was free and they had 2 computers to use in the same area. It was not hard to get a computer. The location was perfect, right on the plaza but a little noisy. The bus stop from the airport is directly across the plaza and the openair tourist bus is directly across the street. It is situated right at the beginning of the Rambles. I would probable stay there again but only with the stipulation that we not be given one of the small rooms. They spoke very good English and were very helpful at the desk.

I think very highly of this hotel. Several specific comments to go with my numeric ratings: 1) The outside pictures of the hotel don't do justice to its interior quality. The finish was quality modern european hotel grade. 2) I was there during the beginning of the annual festival in Barcelona. This hotel sits right on the main plaza where big stages are set. Yet despite the fact that the bands were playing until 3am, we got a very nice, fairly quiet rest. Typical european "good quality" double/triple-paned glass doors. 3) Free WiFi "just worked." This makes it worth the stay if you're there for business. I'll definitely stay at an H10 hotel again. I saw another during my stroll of the city, and it looked just as nice. Good value for good hotel.

Had booked twin room - was given tiny room with 3/4 width double bed. After complaining was given bigger room next day but still with double bed not twin. Hot breakfast was not hot - often items had run out. What was left , especially scrambled and fried eggs, looked dried up.

Whilst the location of the hotel was fantastic, the service was not what I would expect. They ran out of Teabags (other than fruit teas) by day 3 of my 5 day visit, when trying to get in the hotel at 03.00, I had to ring my friends and wake them to get staff to open the door. These factors did not endear me to the hotel, and it is likely I would not stay there again.

Perfectly situated on Catalunya Plaza. If we go back to Barcelona, this hotel will be our first choice.

Hotel is in an excellent location at the top of Les Ramblas, and right across the plaza from the airport aerobus. The hotel is decorated to a very high standard, with a good buffet breakfast selection. Free internet is available as is complimentary red wine and cava after 12pm daily - although the staff are not always efficient at replacing the empty bottles with full ones. Rooms are of a high standard but very compact. H10 website claims rooms are attended to twice daily - during our four days the room was only ever serviced once a day and that seemed to be to change the towels only. Overall the hotel is in a fantastic location, decorated to a very high standard and could be perfect if some of the standards were raised.

The room used 106 was very noisey( kitchen staff began work at 7.45ish) and had no natural light, otherwise it was fine , also the complimentary drinks on 1st floor were not kept refreshed so we only managed a drink on our first night.

Great hotel located in the very centre of Barcelona, everything in walking distance and a Metro on the doorstep to take you anywhere you want to go in the city within minutes. Friendly, helpful staff, english speaking. small rooms but who needs a big room when your on holiday? Overall a superb hotel for a short break.
