The hotel is very convenient to Las Ramblas, and about 2 blocks from the metro. Our room was on the back side of the Hotel, which was quiet at night, and you could see the spires of Sagrada Familia, and the Barcelona Cathedral from the balcony. One of the Gaudi buildings is across the street from the hotel, but unfortunately it is being restored right now, so is fully covered with scaffolding and not open to the public.

Room was OK -- for one night, it did what it had to do. Had double bed + single bed in outer room for our son, but that was it -- no other couch, chairs, table so for more than a night, or two max, it would not have been comfortable. Room and bathroom were very clean. Front desk staff did not go out of their way to help with info, directions, getting taxi, etc., but did comply and we did get the info we needed -- just felt like we were imposing.

My only problems were that the rooms were not ready at 12 am and that the cafeteria closed before the published time. Access by car is also very difficult because of the one-way system. An unexpectered bonus was that our terrace looked out on the roof of the Palau Guell and Gaudi's superb chimneys.

Central location, very noisy at night. 1 towel per person asked for more, didn't get them. Beds very hard but good.

The hotel was as good as you would get for the price and location. It is situated a few yards down a side road from the very busy boulevard Las Ramblas. We had a small balcony looking out onto the street which was nice. The hotel is right in the heart of the main tourist areas, walking distance to the port, the shopping areas and the Gothic quarter.

This is a great place to stay location was very good, easy access to all attractions and great for evening enjoying the Ramblas. Hotel was excellent and having parking as well was an added bonus.

Parking and breakfast are not included and expensive. Third bed in the room is unconfortable. No safebox in the room. Staff was not able to tell me the addres of a very close and nice restourant. General experience is good because the hotel has a nice structure and the location very good.

Our first stay, we had a second room for our children. The service was excellent, location great, room surprisingly well appointed, bathroom spotless and everything worked. The full breakfast buffet was included at no extra cost (though our reservation said it was not)... a/c worked good, as did the shut out blinds and the bed was very comfy. We would recommend and go back, price was great for the location and quality of room.
