Hotell is nice. Take the bus into town rather then the subway. The bus is no. 41 from town at placa de Universitat and it stop on the road behind the hotel (Passeig del Taulat). Make sure you don't get a roomum with a connecting door to the room next door cause they are not very soundproof.

Very close to the CCIB Convention Center and the beach. Nice walk to the Olympic Harbour. To get to city center (Rambla), you have to go by bus or metro.

Nice hotel with good facilities, room was small but functional as expected from previous reviews but more than adequate for most people. Very friendly, only downpoint being that the phone didn't work for the entire 4 day stay.

Cannot say if the hotel is a good one or not, as they had double booked our rooms and had to relocate us to another hotel. This is the first time I have booked a hotel on line, and this administrative error caused us considerable stress.

5 minutes walk from the beaches..less than that to the pick up point for the TMB bus turistica which is the cheapest way to see the city..and approx 8-10- mins walk from metro Selva de Mar which is 7 stops from La Rambla.. 20 mins transfer by taxi from airport. excellent location,good hotel..

The location isn't ideal, but Metro is quite close. It's a perfectly nice hotel with a very friendly staff.

location,location,location. this is the only negative we had for this very nice hotel. breakfast was plentiful. price was right. internet was provided for free. staff was pleasant but the location-there was to our knowledge only one restaurant within walking distance and that was a chinese restaurant which was pretty good. we ate in the hotel twice during our stay which was for 3 nights.

Excellent hotel. Recommended to friends who loved it too. The service, facilities & cleanliness were all fantastic. Only complaint would be not enough wardrobe and drawer space and no mirror in the bedroom. Will be back next year.

This hotel has two blocks one facing the sea and the other not. By the advertising I thought i was getting a seafront room but got the furthest room on the road facing block. The breakfast room could not cope with the number of guests, I had to sit on a bar stool and if you are non smoker avoid this hotel. The breakfast room was choked with smoke. The hotel is only a good option if the weather is good and you want the beach. Definitely won't stay here again.

my boyfried & i visit the front maritim in octorber for his birthday &we were very impressed with the rooms,they are contempery & the bathroom has a big walk in shower we loved it,theres free water on every floor in a fridge which are handy to take out with you, it is 10mins on the metro into the center we got a 3 day ticket 23euro for two we use it a few times a day its quick & safe its round the corner & a few mins walk from the hotel.but you can also walk on the front to port villa for nightlife.the beach is very nice across the road,

The breakfast buffet was superb!
