We requested a non smoking room but was given a smoking room when we checked in. had to go back to change it and was told we would have to wait an hour and half or upgrade to an executive room. We upgraded because we were tired. It was a nice room. The breakfast was good too. There is a piano in the piano bar.............. we never heard it in the 3 days we stayed there. The piano bar has no atmostphere a loud tv usually playing a soap or football not a good place to relax and we were told the piano was No functionar when we asked. It is close to the station 100 metres.

Well positioned, close to the Olimpic fountains. The hotels would need some renovation and improvement in furniture, etc which is not exactly over worn but it is a bit old. Large hotel, lots of rooms and tourists.

very close to center 5 mins walking from metro tarragona (green line) about 10 mins walking from metro plaza espanya (green and red line) Swimming pool is very small Room very clean. Only single bad, not matrimonial. I recommend the hotel in offer!

the only downside to this hotel was that there was no area or outside verandra attached to the bar that permitted smoking. The only option was to smoke in the street outside. This hotel is a perfect location if flying into Barcelona airport as right by train station that has train to airport. Not quite so good if flying to Girona as it takes about 25 mins to get to bus pick-up and then u have 70 mins coach journey to Girona airport.

Very good for transport both within and out of the city. Walking distance to Placa Espana and the famous fountain. Executive room nice, bathroom so-so. Poor sound insulation both form corridor and balcony.

Opposite the hotel is a building site at the moment but I am sure it will be a better aspect soon. The hotel is very pleasant, clean and comfortable. Very close to train and easy access to airport via rail. Not exactly central but convenient to see the sites. Roof pool gives you a good view of Barcelona. Restaurant was pleasant with excellent service in English.

At first when i got there the person at the desk was no curious and after making us wait for 15 minutes he told us that the rooms where not ready and ti was passed the checking time. we had to leave the luggage and come back. When we came back again we had await around 20 minutes. I had requested 2 non-smoking rooms and the room they gave us were smoking room and the smell of cigarretes was awfull. When i when to the front desk they argue with me that my reservation didn't specify the room type and that they didn't have any other available rooms. I insisted until they some how found us one non-smoking room on the 10th floor right below the pool(no elavator service to that floor. The noise level on the rooms is unbearable.Breakfast buffer not worth the price! The overall experience was awfull, never again! DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL

Excellent hotel, very friendly and helpful staff, newly refurbished room, very clean. Located near Sants train station, not very close to city centre, but very convenient with buses and subways around.
