The staff were very pleasant. The rooms clean and simple. I also think the idea of leaving a bottle of Cava in each room as they are currently renovating the hotel, was a nice touch. If you want a simple base in Barcelona it is an OK choice.

Convenient location. Staff very friendly and helpful. Our room was rather small but was comfortable. There was more space to move around in the bathroom than there was in the bedroom area! I would stay there again if I visited Barcelona.

Staff were extremely helpful and spoke good English. The hotel is still under renovation as reflected in some earlier comments. The room was smaller than expected for a 3 star hotel and the interior was very noisy and not well sound-proofed. Despite this, hotels in Barcelona appear to be expensive and this was adequate.

The hotel was excellent, small, clean great breakfasts and not too far (10 mins stroll) from the centre of Barcelona. The staff were first class. There were four of us, myself, my wife, and our family aged 17 and 20. We all thought it was great. Local bus service nearby if you did not feel like walking. Fully recommend it.

Not much to say. It is an excellent hotel with relatively good price in a good location with respect to the underground and the distance from central locations. I have no complain at all!!!! I will book again via this site!!!!

The sound carry between rooms was disturbing, especially the noise from water and water outlet pipes. It seemed as though the waste water from adjoining rooms converged into the same outlet pipe. Majella McWeeney

First impressions were not good, a double bed instead of twins. There was a problem with the safe deposit box in the room - it wouldn't open, and my friend had her case keys in it! However, the night manager opened the safe and was utterly charming. The next morning, our bags were moved to another room, with no fuss. Receptionists were helpful, especially at the end of the stay, showing us to an easier way the airport.

Room small and some refurbishing going on in the lobby area. staff all very friendly and helpful. Breakfast plentiful and constantly kept replenished throughout the whole time buffet was open despite a group of around 30 American teenagers staying at the hotel during some of our time.
