The Hotel Catalonia Ramblas is a beautiful, early 19th-century modernist building designed by Josep Majo Ribas. Once the site of the La Vanguardia newspaper offices, and recently renovated, the hotel is just a few meters (yards) from Plaza Catalunya and the world-renowned Ramblas. It has a small garden, inner courtyard and outdoor pool.
The hotel offers 221 guestrooms on seven floors, with a simple, contemporary décor, flat screen satellite television, video on demand and wireless internet access. Try out the spa with sauna and solarium, or enjoy excellent Mediterranean cuisine at the on-site restaurant. Nine meeting rooms available.
