This is a nice hotel in a good location. However, there is no concierge, and one bellboy who I never saw carrying luggage. The front desk staff was aloof. The breakfast buffet is very good. The hallways and rooms are attractive. The metro and airport bus is right outside the hotel.

Overall a very good hotel which delivers on it 4* rating. Rooms are clean and well equiped, and a nice Spanish lady pops round every evening and turns down your bed and leaves chocolates on the bedside table. The gym is OK, with a running and bike machine; a bench press but with small weights; and two resistance machines - one for legs and the other for arms. I didn't see the pool. There's good Wi-Fi coverage provided by Swisscom Eurospot. However the cost for this is CRAZY !!! I don't understand why some hotel continue to charge for internet access. If you can handle is little bit of street noise (the windows are pretty well sound-proofed) ask for a room on the 5th or 6th floor facing the Plaze de Espana - you'll get an awesome view of the Plaza, the impressive Fira Barcelona and the hills of Montjuic.

What I really disliked in this hotel is that I choose it because it was supposed to have a Sauna, but the Sauna was closed (due to work in progress). No sign was mentionning this at the reception, and the hotel staff were not willing to do anything more then saying they were sorry for what seemed to me like a major drawback. I filled out a claim form for the hotel director but didn't get any feedback yet. Otherwise the hotel is ok for a business trip if you need to stay in that area of Barcelona, but the surrounding are rather uninteresting and there are very few restaurants. However there is direct access to the subway.

Very efficient, clean and modern, good location for airport bus and metro and a surprisingly nice view. Open air pool on the roof a great bonus. Staff very friendly and helpful.

excellent location. The metro is just outside the door of the hotel, with taxis always available, so everywhere is accessible. The website did lead me to believe that the hotel had two pools, an indoor and an outdoor; not true! they put a roof on the outdoor one. Also it's dangerous unless you're a strong swimmer. No safety rails or gradual slope, and no life guard on duty. otherwise though, a great place in terms of its ability to give you quality access to the rest of Barcelona.

The welcome we received at reception was dreadful, being ignored in favour of people who came in after us and this set us against the hotel from the start. But the majority of the staff were good. The pool area was not good having no facilities. The water was very cold, although it was stated to be a heated pool and we never did find the sauna despite it being pictured in the hotel brochure. These leisure facilities were one of the reasons we booked this hotel but we were disappointed with them.

roof top pool ok, but sunloungers are all broken and dusty bit tatty. fitness room very small, worn out equipment no a/conditionng could do with a refurbish. also do not lose the safe key if you rent a room safe,it take forever to get a duplicate. breakfast is fantastic though. it is not bad but could be better.

Extremely helpful staff with a very pleasant manner. Breakfasts very good. Metro stop just outside hotel so good for getting around I didn't use any facilities apart from room, bar, cafeteria for breakfast and front desk. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.
