This is a lovely hotel. The only thing to note was the fact that you couldn't see what the weather was like through the window as you couldn't see the sky.

Very efficient and pleasant accomodations with many international visitors. Having a few more English speaking people on staff would have been helpful but 2 in our group were fluent and did much of the interactions. We would recommend and return to this facility.

The soundproofing between the rooms is nearly non-existent. One could constantly hear people walking, toilets flushing etc. Otherwise, OK. Location good and reasonable value for price, although we were charged 25 Euros extra for a room at the back, just to have the quiet that you should expect anyway.

The room was extremly small, only a bed and a small corridor. The windows was opposite to a wall, without any ligtht. Very bad.

Overall, a very good pick. It's not a romantic one but it is very well located, has some very good places around it (from Gaudi to local cerveserias). One thing that bothered me is that one of the guys in the reception gave me wrong information about train stations in Barcelone. It caused me to miss my train and a 7 hours overall delay. If you don't know something - don't say. TIP: Don't get the breakfast. At this price you can get a lot better just down the street at the near cerveseria.

The particular room that we had was extremely small (not as depicted on their website) and not very appealing with its grey brick walls. However, the buffet breakfast made up for some of the negatives.

The hotel was very good but not many of the staff speak english. The location is good - close enough to Las Ramblas to walk to it in about 10 minutes. There's a very good tapas bar down the road - Cerveza Catalonia.
