hugely overpriced. no recepton desk. despite prior notice of late evenung arrival, obliged to get to a distant city location to register & obtain keys. broken bathroom fittings. no room service or change of towels. no non-spanish tv. no customer rating request. apparently meant to operate on auto-pilot. to be avoided.

Our One Bed Room Apartment is nice and big. It is an apartment so we have to provide food for breakfast and toilet paper by ourselves. No daily cleaning service. The location is not so good at all. It is too far away and too long walk to the central.

September 2007, in middle of refurbishment - new windows etc being instaled, and plans for pool and bar. Neverthelees, already good facilities with well equipped kitchen (including dishwasher and washing machine). Biggest problem was finding it - reception curently on 5th floor. At ground level, outer door locked and unstaffed, and a tiny label saying apartements on one of the bells. A bigger notice seemed to come and go, depending on the time of day. Even Spanish / Catalan speaking visitors seemed confused. A few minor things were soon sorted by friendy staff (how to use the air conditioning, plug for the kitchen sink). Some things slightly run down (TV reception poor, and shower head not properly fixed) but no real problem.

Very nice, clean and well-equipped apartment with friendly, helpful people running it. The location is great, just a few minutes walk from the Ramblas, metro station, shops etc. but far enough to escape the crowds. The street did get a bit noisy at night a couple of times but this seems to be commonplace; Barcelona is a noisy city. I would happily stay there again.

Our room was facing the street. It was quite noisy. That was ashame because it prevented us from having a good night's sleep.

Approx 15 minute walk from Placa Catalunya ( drop off stop for airport bus service €3.85 single fare ) Bars / restaurants close by but not noisy in appartment. Bathroom nicely fitted out but small. We would use the appartment again.

Nice, modern and clean apartments. Walking distance of Ramblas. Post hire room inspection seemed a little intense (army inspection springs to mind). Requirement to empty own bins was a surprise.

Aptmts compact. Too compact for 4 adults. I paid for two apts over the net, then when we arrived they also required $150Euro deposit for each apt. After an inspection before we left they repaid me the deposit, but in cash, when I had put the deposit on my card. Not very convenient. Was a good fifteen minutes walk to Las Ramblas as well. Ok for 2 people room wise, but not 4. Also not enough hot water - ran out every day when showering.

The apartment was really good, the only problem was arriving after 7pm and having to get the key from a nearby hotel with bags in tow! Great location and the apartment was nicely decorated and clean. Julie Tipping.

Great apartment, very clean and equipped with everything you need. This was a much cheaper option for us (2 adults 1 child) than any of the hotels in Barcelona. The only draw back was that there were some loud night clubs in the vicinity, but we still highly rate these apartments and would use them again.

Apartment 4: bedroom has a common wall with a night club (its toilet probably), so not only you hear the music and it's bum-bum-bum-bum-bum, but also a hand dryer (dryers) that go on every minute or so. Absolutely impossible to sleep, so we tried to stay out every night after the first one (that night club -Dietrich- closes at 3 am). Bathroom is so silly planned you can't get in easily. We've been told that other apartments are better. Location is good.

The apartment was quite small for 4 people but as we were seldom there it wasn't a major issue. The first morning we were quite late taking showers and there was only enough hot water for 2 showers, so take your shower early. If your not in the mood for walking, just hail a taxi from outside the front door, they are quite frequent and relatively cheap.
