Although the hotel looked very nice, the service (unusually for Thailand) was not great. The staff were always running around looking busy but could not get anything done. Maybe we got them on a bad day. There are better places to stay in Bangkok

The Davis is a beautiful hotel that is good value for money. Their attention to detail and quality is terrific. The location is ok especially if you like walking.

I stayed for 5 nights and attended a 3 full day seminar at Davis and wish to request for late check-out on Sunday as I will have departure flight at 7pm. They said they can only extend the check out time to 1pm. I wish to request for late check out to 2pm as this is what other hotel usually allowed subject to room condition. The lady in front desk rejected me in a rude attitude. Therefore I asked her to ask her manager for the request. She called and confirmed with the Manager that I can check out at 2pm the latest. If I'm late, the hotel will charge 1.xxx baht for that. Her attitude is simply rude and not treat me as a guest in any respect. I feel I'm insulted and will be fined when I'm late. I'm very disappointed with her service and I made a complaint to the manager though may not be useful. I will not stay in this hotel anymore and will tell the bad experience to my friends either. The location is also inconvenient to either BTS / MRT.

Perhaps the best VFM hotel in Bangkok. The breakfast was good enough albeit not lavish. The main shopping malls of Carrefour and Tesco are located just behind the hotel( 150 metres) and taxis are easily available outside the hotel. The pool area is clean but could be inconvenient if one is staying at the corner wing. I will return for a longer stay in this hotel.

I was very disappointed with this hotel; it needs a wake-up call. Pictures of the pool on this website are not of the main hotel pool. Standards are not good compared to other 5 star hotels in Bangkok, although the price seems good. Staff efficient and good. Location was bad, too far from Sky train. Our deluxe room was spacious but very ordinary, carpet was dirty, there was no fruit or paper or flowers. Charges for internet are really excessive, spent 90 USD for 8 days access.

The Hotel is little far from the BTS but Davis Hotel provide free ride to the BTS terminal every half hour but we where 7persons and the TOK TOK can only take 6persons so one of us has to walk or take taxi.

Great hotel, great facilities, excellent service. Everything was just perfect, would definitely stay in this hotel when we come back to Bangkok again. The room was spacious and very well decorated. Breakfast was also very nice and it was great to jump into the pool after a day of sightseeing around Bangkok and enjoy the other facilities of the fitness centre.

Excellent hotel, the only problem being the distance from the sky train, which is a very useful public transportation system. Very young crew, extremely kind and careful. Pool is a little bit too small in term of available beds.
