The hotel I found certainly is NOT as brilliant as its official website claims... I did not stay in the tower building and the room I got certainly needs maintenance... The hotel was in a renovation phase, or al least they say so, but nobody informed me about this and I did not expect to sleep in a men at work area... For one night I survived, of course, but I will NOT go back to this hotel, in the future.

first impression is good while you enter the lobby, front office staff did not arrange the room as per the booking me and my wife had to stayed in two seprate bed inspite of giving very clear request for king size bed. staff never greet or smile to look at you. rooms were not maintained well , toilet flush was not working, after every flush you have to call maintenance. service was bed , only best thing is the location. you can save money in transport as every thing is close by.

Not at all a pleasent stay. Only the location is convenient. The upkeep is not good, rooms & bathrooms are shabby. Food is awful, the whole ambience is very dull. Would not recommend anyone for stay at the Hotel, unless budget is very little.

The Hotel entrance was excellent but the room was a disappointment. We requested a double, but were given a twin room. The room was in need of extensive renovation. The TV picture had poor reception. The price was high for a room of that quality in Bangkok, especially for a last minute deal.

The most interesting in theciciusis hotel is breakfast.You will find Bangkok best&delicious fruit here. The room is good but they don't maintain the hotel facilities well & look too old.

I am not pleased at all on the facilities of the Hotel. There was no tea making facilities. Furthermore we were given twin beds instead of king size bed. Reasons given was that king sizebed was not available to us, possibly we checkin late ( around 20.45 ). There was no excuse as we had indicated late checkin during booking.

On arrival the hotel was impressive and the hotel in large was very good, unfortunatley it was let down by the rooms decor, they were damp and very tired looking, although on arrival it was indicated that the rooms were being upgraded this was not specified on booking (HOTELCLUB ISSUE - INFORM PAYING CUSTOMERS, ITS NICE TO KNOW!!!) There was a lack of tea/coffee making facilities and hairdrier only available on request and then only on an hourly basis (ladies be warned!!!). The swimming pool area again was tired looking but served the purpose. Apart from the above the communial areas were clean and bright, the staff were very attentive and the food excellent. Gym - good facility. Location - just where you want to be to experience the bustle of Bangkok.

This is an old hotel and although the rooms are nice and large and the beds very comfortable. I think it is time for a bit of modernisation. I believe this is already happening. I would have no hessitaition in staying there again. Andrew Griffiths

The main draws here are price, price, and price. It's no Ritz-Carlton: the rooms are basic and worn, furniture and interior old and outdated, and the service generally average - not good, not bad. But, the price is excellent, and the value overall for that price is not bad at all. Plus, it is a 5 minute walk to the SkyTrain stop, which is extremely convenient.

overall is good. but 1 thng need to be improved, if can renovate a bit, then will better, coz now inside hotel, all the light are very dark

The location of the hotel was ideal for getting to the local shopping and eating houses in the busy area of tow. There was no noise even though there was renervation work taking place to the hotel. I would stay there again and would recommend it for anyone staying in Bangkok.

Our watches stolen from the room. that is bad and happened us first time. not to go to Ambassador again.
