Bar prices were very expensive, even bar staff were embarassed. Rooms were OK but over priced. Breakfast cost £11.95 We did not eat at the hotel as prices were over the top.

As for a Ramada hotel I expected a far better overall service. We also have had to pay for the breakfast which wasn't included on the price I paid when I booked the rooms. The bad thing was that this point wasn't specified anywhere when booking. Certain situation are typical of the old East European countries...I won't use it again. Regards

Fine as a good quality, fairly standard business hotel. Good location, and interior is well-appointed. The building is an unappealing example of 1960s concrete brutalism,but this does not detract from the comfort of the hotel itself. The car park was very over-crowded, and I noticed some dreadful double parking that would have trapped several of the cars in it (fortunately not mine!). I think they need to keep a closer eye on how the car park is being used - probably need a permanent attendant.

Ideal if you do not mind a busy location. Air conditioning would also be a welcome addition in the bedrooms as the hotel was extremely warm. Otherwise a nice hotel with very friendly, helpful staff. Enjoyable stay and would return

The bedrooms are of a poor standard. Peeling wallpaper, soiled carpets. The bathroom in the room was OK. The public areas particlularly the toilets were digusting, old dirty and smelly. The bar also closed at 11pm which at this time of the year is very inconvenient.

My husband and I only stayed over one night and left early next morning. The loaction suited us at the time (Near Prestwick airport) - The room was small but otherwise OK. We noticed that the door to the room was sort of loose in its frame, even though locked, and gave the impression that it would be easy to brake open - but we slept soundly, and this is the only fault I could notice in my short stay at Ramada Jarvis Ayr. - Regards Anna Haraldsdottir, Iceland

Nights were disturbed by noisy seagulls, traffic and partygoers due to open windows because of hot weather.
