I had an electrical problem in my room and it was handled quickly and efficiently. They offered to move me to a different room and the front desk called to make sure that the problem had been resolved.

First they checked us into a room that was being lived in by the hotels repair man. They gave us another room which was right next door to the room with the repair man. Again we were upset because now we had a room with only one king size bed, and we had reserved a room with two double. Also it had a connecting door to the repair man's room. We told the front desk that we would take the room if another bed was put in So they asked if the repair man if he could put the prior flea infested couch from his room into our room. So we told the front desk that we would take the room only if they reduced our price. They quickly found a room with two double beds as we had reserved. No door handle on the bathroom door. The laundry room had one washing machine and one dryer. Someone tried to check into our room that night. The housekeeping staff was nice and on top of things. Checking out was a bit of a hassle as well.

Great need of customer service training. No smiles, welcomes, or any apparent pleasure in serving the customer. While the work is obviously being done, the appreciation is not being transferred to the guests. Recommend pulling the staff together as a team to help them recognize who they are there for. While I am now unable to confirm the price I was quoted on the web site, I don't believe the hotel held to the price I was quoted.
