This hotel was very clean. In a good location with easy access from Central station by tram. The room (DOUBLE) however was very small making it difficult to move around when 2 people are sharing. Friendly helpfull staff at reception.

We reserved a double bed but when we arrived we were allocated a twin beds. We went back to tell the receptionist who then changed it to a double. The double room was unbeliveably tiny, we could not walk pass each other anywhere, so we then asked for the twin room back. The receptionist was very rude exclaiming his annoyance that he would have to change the reservation around yet again! I also got suspicious bites overnight which got infected and caused a great deal of pain for the next few days. Our room smelled of cigarette smoke which came up from the restaurant below so we had to keep the window shut for the whole duration of our stay. We had to share the dining room with the cat and his food on the floor.

We stayed at the Prinsen for a weekend leasure trip, and its truly one to recommend. Close to everything and very friendly staff.

Staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. The breakfast was superb, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Although there was no tea/coffee making facilities in the room, hot drinks were available at the bar. An ideal base for exploring a wonderful city.

when we arrived at the prinsen we were told that the prinsen was full so we actually stayed in a hotel called the europa 92, which was 200 m away , the hotel was'nt too bad but we would have prefered to have stayed in the original hotel!

This is a small friendly hotel, basic but very clean. It is very centrally located and with in 2 Mins walk of the Liedesplein. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and will be using it myself for future visits.

The rooms were exceptionally clean, although a bit small, and the hotel is very conveniently situated close to Liedesplein. Overall, a pretty good hotel.

Good location, quiet but very handy for all the sights and restaurants. Good breakfast + friendly cat. Clean and comfortable. Friendly service (though they get a bit rushed). Recommended.

A very comfortable hotel with excellent and friendly staff. Would have liked tea making facilities in the bedroom though and not certain if two single beds pushed together constitutes a double bed in Amsterdam!

A lovely hotel set in a quiet location. The hotel is only a five minute walk to the Museum area and the centre of Amsterdam. I would definitely stay here again in the future. Also, a good self-service breakfast!

Hotel is very well situated just off Leidesplien in a really nice and quiet area. Has a lovely welcoming reception area which is used for breakfast with a small bar also. There's a small garden to the rear of the hotel, very well kept, very relaxing to while away an hour or so in the afternoon or late evening. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was basic but clean with an electronic safety deposit box which you dont have to pay for. I would definately recommend this hotel :)

The prinzen hotel is in a very quiet semi-residential area but close to the Liedseplein. Other larger hotels in the same area charge 2x as much for lesser qualities. The staff are very friendly & helpful. The only thing lacking is there is no room for a restaurant. There is a small breakfast area w/excellent offerings. Some of the best restaurants in Amsterdam are literally only a block or 2 away. We loved this hotel & recommend it highly.
