overall impression of the hotel was good. One bad thing was the temperature of the rooms. I was on the 5th floor, the temperature in the room was at least 30 degrees centigrade, there was no air conditioning, no fan available and the windows were screwed shut. This led to an environment which was very uncomfortable if not dangerous. There would have been no means of escape in the event of a fire.

We think that the breakfast offer could be some better, in then meaning of personalstaff in the breakfast room. And some of the people in the lobby area could learn to smile.

THE ROOM WE WERE GIVEN ON THE FIRST NIGHT WAS NOT WHAT WE HAD REQUESTED. THIS WAS RECTIFIED THE FOLLOWING MORNING AND FROM THEN ON WE WERE VERY HAPPY WITH ALL THE HOTEL OFFERED.

I found a few faults that i would not have expected from a 4 star hotel. 1)holes in the top bed cover 2)the bed moved apart during the night into 2 separate beds leaving a large gap in between 3) no anti slip mat in bath/shower 4)no access to mini bar in room 5)unable to regulate room temperature 6) buffet breakfast was at best average..

I would love to stay in this hotel again. The only problem we had was that we booked a triple room and were given twin beds made into a double and separate single. It took 3 attempts before the maid came to make up the beds as singles!!!!!!!!!!! Other than that we were very pleased with the hotel.

Very polite service and has sufficient room service. Would have been nice if Tea and Coffee Facilities had been in the Rooms. Hotel Restaurant Excellent.

The staff where very helpful and spoke excellent English. The hotel is idealy situated for exploring Amsterdam. The restaurant was lovely serving a limited but very tasty menu (especially the steaks!)

The room was exceptionally tired, I know it was a single but there was holes in the bathroom floor. the towels were old and grey. There was a mouse keeping me awake most of the night until I changed rooms at 3 am. it was an unpleasant stay. The mouse was actually sitting on the floor eating something looking at me without a care in the world. I will not be staying at that hotel again.
