Had a good stay at the BOTEL, but the new location is a serious pain. You are no longer beside Centraal Station, and instead have to take a ferry to the new location of the BOTEL. This is a real shame. Next time I will go for something more central.

We received a map showing the Botel to be located 400 metres from Central Station. This is not true any more. The Botel has been re-located to a quay a 10 minute ferry ride from the back of Central Station. It is surrounded by rusting hulks. Totally unsuitable for a one night stop over in Amsterdam as you lose so much time waiting for the ferry.

The Botel was great value for money. The rooms were VERY clean, and the location was good for getting into town. I would recommend this hotel for anyone that wants to explore the city, but on quite a small budget.

The only thing this hotel lacks is either air conditioning or fans to rent - it was very warm when we stayed there!

It was very noisy when we stayed due to construction work outside of our window. Also the double bed was two single beds together with wood in the middle.

Great location beside Tourist Office and Central Station with access to trams, canal bus, trains and buses. Excellent hot/cold buffet breakfast.

During our stay there was demolation going on about 700 mts from the hotel, this started at 6am Monday to Thursday, Friday started 4am in the morning. The noise was off a pnewmatic hammers.

I was more than happy with the room as it was on the 4 th floor, therefore we had no noise from above us. there was a party going on in room 443 but everybody is on holiday and entitled. I would gladly stay in your hotel again when in amsterdam. I have also passed on to all my friends about the botel and some of them have also stayed.

It was a novelty staying on the water. The room was fine and the bathroom very good. The breakfast was EXCELLENT with everything you could want and plenty of it. It was easy to walk to from the Central Station, and it was easy to walk to the city buses, trams, the Dam Square and city streets. By Amsterdam standards the cost was very reasonable. It proved to be a good choice for us.
