Ideally situated in central Amalfi, on the Promenade, beside the sea and a few metres from the Piazza Duomo, the Hotel la Bussola was built in 1900. At that time it housed a pasta factory. Today, the hotel has been wonderfully restored and features beautiful panoramic terraces offering superb views of Amalfi and its port. The hotel has elevators, air-conditioning, and welcoming common areas.

The hotel's 60 simple, comfortable rooms are decorated with magnificent majolicas and works of the greatest ceramic artists of the Amalfi Coast. The hotel restaurant serves typical Mediterranean specialities amid a fantastic view. From mid-June to mid-September, you can take advantage of the complementary lounge chairs and umbrellas on the rocks in front of the hotel.

Hotel La Bussola is located in central Amalfi on the beach, a few steps from the cathedral, the shopping district, and the port where steam boats leave for Positano, Capri, Ischia, Naples and Salerno every morning. Among the most famous attractions located nearby, you may visit the Cathedral, the Villa Rufolo de Ravello, Correale de Terranova museum and the city of Pompei.

Hotel La Bussola has been awarded with the certificate of international standard UNI ISO 14001-04 for the attention paid to the creation of an environmental-friendly atmosphere. From mid June to mid September, on the rocks in front of the hotel a jetty is available with complimentary deck-chair and sun umbrellas for bathing facility Only 200 metres from the hotel there are two beaches.
