We took about 30min walk in the extreme hot weather between town centre and the hotel. The walk is exhausted. Shuttle bus between town centre and hotel only operates 3 times a day. Transfers to/from airport require extra fees of AUD25- which is same as taking a taxi. Staff there are not nice enough. The room facilities are well equiped. Body lotion is very good, essential in this dry weather.

From the moment we arrived, the staff were very attentive. They assisted us in everyway that they could. They made us feel very comfortable. The rooms were generous in size, amenities were great - everything in the room worked well. Free internet access from the business center. Great buffet breakfast. Free shuttle to downtown Alice Springs. Nice casino. Complimentary cocktails on arrival. Highly recommend this place.

because the facilities are not being maintained to standard our sliding door to the balcony was not shutting. We had to be moved at 1.30am. The manager did not i believe take our security concerns seriously even though he did give us a bottle of wine and a $30 voucher for Samfire rest. which to be honest is overpriced anyway. I also found the room service meal to be of poor quality and very expensive. One of the lady staff member in the breakfast was actually quite abrupt. I won't be staying again. I will be going back to the Crown Plaza. I travel with business.

Our stay was marred by a drunk who swore, shouted and banged on the paper thin walls continuously because he was thrown out of the casino. Despite calls to reception nothing was done. No security was called. I was terrified he would break down the interconnecting doors, and finally I was moved at 2.00am. The hotel is not for you if you want quiet in the night. It is managed by inexperienced staff at nights who are not trained to deal with situations. And at their exorbatant costs, I would not stay there again

I expected this place to be below standard because of the location. The standard of service was excellent with every staff member going out of their way to help. The room was very clean and had modern fixtures and furniture. Room service was of a high standard. Improvements could be valet parking and porterage.

This is a cheap low grade motel style casino that is qiute far out from town and it is not safe to walk back and forth. The food was very average, and there were a few undesirables hanging around. I would stay elsewhere if given the choice again.

I found the hotel to be of a very high standard with very clean, comfortable rooms and excellent service. The gymnasium was particularly valuable to me.
