The room had not been properly cleaned when I moved in, no-one cleaned it at all for the next 3 days, I was disgusted. Because I was away on tours and only in when reception was closed I was unable to get any service. A very poor hotel for the price asked for the rooms. Backpackers are better quality for cleanliness for their lower prices.

The beds were comfortable, the staff were helpful. The pub and shop were a little expensive compared to town but were extremely convenient. The meals were good, though service for them ended relatively early, a factor to be aware of if you don't have easy transport into town. I'd stay there again!

Entertainment in the Tavern was excellent. Food was reasonable and reasonably priced.

Picturesque surroundings and helpful friendly staff - but the facilities are not as good as those at other places we stayed in Alice Springs. All the kitchen cutlery and crockery were dirty and greasy. The cooking facilities were very poor. The outdoor furniture was dirty. The airconditioning was very loud and blew straight in your face when you went to bed. I did not see any wallabies!

We had a lot of fun at this unique accomodation. You could see some local wallabies in the evening and the dinner at the pub was friendly with enjoyable live music of a local variety.
