We (parents with 2 teenagers) stayed here in August, for 10 days. An old apartment, yet clean. The beds were very hard. The location was super. You had to use a long stairway to reach the square, but itRead more wasn't too hard. Within 5 minutes you could reach the centre. The beach was a 10 minutes walk. Lidl was 5 minutes away from that, so you could do some nice shopping there. We went to Aquapark Slide & Splash, which was very fun. And we did a buggytour, that was awesome!!! We even used a speedboat to "sail" along the coast. And we visited some nice caves and beautiful beaches. We saw some dolphins, these excursions were awesome. If you wanted to swim with dolphins, then you had to book that in advance. We were too late with that, but we'll return there next year, because we had such a great time there. The weather there was super too, just great.Hide

Cerro Malpique II, a good apartment complex with a small pool. Very thin walls and hard beds. Not enough pans in the kitchen. We stayed at apartment 306 and we had the most beautiful view on the old cityRead more and sea. There was a steep road between the apartment and the beach. It didn't look that far, but it was! At the bakery around the corner you could get some nice fresh buns every morning. There was a cash dispenser at a 750 meters distance. Lidl was at a 1 mile distance; only accepted cash there. The people were very friendly, not pushy at all. The nightlife was good, there were a lot of activities. Malpique I didn't have an airco on the rooms, Malpique II did have one!Hide
