This resort is showing it's age. Facilities are old and patched for repair. No porter service to help with bags. Grounds are tropical and maintained. Rooms are old and smell old. Fittings are of a poor standard. Air conditioner had a broken front panel and was inefficient in cooling. Ceiling fan fitting was broken but worked. Inside kitchen cupboards was eaten away, dirty and mouldy. One thin towel each in the bathroom. Lights on the verandah did not work. Balastrauding was timber and painted over rot.Timber on roof was aged and in disrepair.No phone instructions for contacting in-house e.g reception,room to room. Reception area lounge and cushions dirty and smelly.$80.00 per night more realistic than 132.00 and that's being generous.

A little disappointing for such a big tourist location. A little run down and needs maintence. The swimming pool was very poor. No comfortable chairs to sit in and relax. Good location though, right in the main street of Airlie Beach with good access to bus runs to Shute Harbour and Shops, Eating Outlets etc. The lagoon pool was only 5 minutes walk away, which is a lovely spot for everyone to enjoy.

Resort is in a good location, but this Resort is only suitable for back packers. The delux rooms might be delux by back packers standards but not by those who are expecting a superior class hotel. This resort is definitely passed its sell by date for the maturer discerning traveller

I stayed in one of the self contained appts, very clean, air con. Tv, remote that works, fresh towels, unfortunately, no complimentary blonde waiting under the sheets, (BYO). Location great, dont complain about the white ants, they get worse the further north you go, (like in England,the rain comes with the terrain..) Better for couples, or if you´re like me, worry about it when you´re back home!! Enjoy yourselves!

premises are tired and need redecorating, not good value for money but great location. rather basic amenities, bathroom is basic shower dripped beds too soft/old worn out, air con did not work( luckily it was winter!!) pity as has a lot of potential with such a good location
