The Croatian Museum of Naive Art, {CATEGORY}
Think Grandma Moses interprets Croatia when you approach the baroque mansion that houses paintings and drawings by such Croatian masters as Ivan Generalic and Ivan Lackovic. This enchanting museum focuses on the Hlebine School. Its 1,500 works are colorful, historical, political, and sometimes politically incorrect, but utterly charming. The imagery depicted by these artists can be a tad bizarre, but it often reflects local customs that still exist in the hinterlands - or in the mind of the artist.
