The museum's first floor can be seen by guided tour only, but the ground floor, patios, and gardens are self-guided. The palace is about a 7-minute walk northeast of the cathedral on the northern edge of Barrio de Santa Cruz, amid a warren of labyrinthine streets whose traffic is funneled through the nearby Calle de Aguilas.
